On the 15th October 1893, the Hôtel Angleterre welcomed under its roof the very first hotel management school of the world - the famous 'Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne'.

Le Bistro: The bistro serves light meals, fabulous penne al arrabiata, perfect salads and wine by the glass. It is open everyday for lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 22:00. Drinks are served from 07:00 to 24:00. La Voûte: La Voûte, a former wine cellar, offers a unique ambience within historic walls and is perfect for a refreshing cocktail, appreciating a glass of wine or for a private get together. It is open everyday and drinks are served from 11:00to 24:00.
