Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof - Interlaken

The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken offers simple yet stylish en-suite rooms for 1 to 6 people and free internet access in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. Every guest has free access to the self-catering kitchen facilities. You enjoy free access to the public indoor and outdoor swimming pools, free mini golf, free use of public buses and free parking. The Chill Out paragliding centre for all levels of proficiency is located in the Backpackers Villa and has a landing field right in front of the hostel. Showers and toilets are en-suite in all rooms, which also feature an up-to-date airing system (Minergie standard). Linen, duvets and a small towel are included in the rate. You need to put the linen on the bed yourself and strip it before departure.

Both train stations are within walking distance (about 10 - 15 minutes) or you can take bus no. 2 to the Sonnenhof stop. From Interlaken West train station: - Turn left and follow the main street (Bahnhofstrasse) to the town centre. - At the roundabout (post office) turn right (Centralstrasse). - At the next intersection (Hotel Savoy) turn left and walk along the park (large green field called 'Hohematte'). - The hostel is located just at the next roundabout (corner Alpenstr/Parkstr). From Interlaken Ost train station: - Turn right and follow the main street (Hoheweg) to town centre. - At Hotel 'Du Nord' turn left (Klosterstrasse) and walk along the park (large green field called 'Hohematte'). - The hostel is located at the second corner directly at the roundabout (corner Alpenstrasse/Parkstrasse).

Please note: If you arrive later than 23:00 you will find the keys in the blue key box at the night entrance. Just enter the last 5 digits of your booking number at the key box. On entering the building you will find all linen on the shelf together with some information on the hostel. You need to put the linen on the bed yourself and strip it before departure.
