Hotel Restaurant Derby - Zermatt

The Hotel Derby offers a very central location on the main street of Zermatt, about 50 metres from the train station and the Gornergrat Railway and about 5 minutes from the Sunnegga tunnel cable car. The Klein-Matterhorn cable car and the Schwarzsee can be reached by bus (included in the ski pass) or on foot in just a few minutes. The hotel offers very comfortable rooms right in the village centre, combined with an outstanding cuisine and an attentive and friendly service.

Zermatt offers 3 ski areas: Rothorn Paradise, Gornergrat and the Matterhorn glacier paradise. It is a car-free village so you have to leave your car in Täsch and take the train to Zermatt. The train ride takes about 12 minutes.

The hotel is about a 3-minute walk from the train station. From the station, walk straight ahead on the main street and the hotel is on the right-hand side.

Our excellent cuisine adds a touch of magic to your evening. Guests on a half-board arrangement enjoy a 5-course dinner. Our restaurant specialises in Italian cuisine and offers about 90 different dishes for every taste. The restaurants seats 90 people, plus an additional 40 on the terrace.
